Hi everyone, in this video we are testing five metal snare drums:
0:09 - Ludwig Supersensitive LM411 ('76) - 6,5" x 14" - Aluminium shell;
0:41 - Pearl Sensitone Elite (2009) - 5" x 14" - Brass shell;
1:15 - Ludwig Supraphonic LM400 ('65) - 5" x 14" Aluminium shell
1:46 - DW Collector's Series ('96) - 6,5" x 14" Brass shell;
2:21 - AK Custom Snare Drums (2012) - 5,5" x 14" Copper shell.
All snare drums were tuned on top to B4 and bottom to A4
We've recorded with a Shure SM 77 (vintage) - no edit sound in post production.

Tutte le pelli battenti sono in SI(4) e le risonanti in LA(4)Il microfono utilizzato era uno Shure SM77 (l'antenato del più famoso SM57) con un regolazione Flat. Quale preferisci? :-)
